Handball Bundesliga team Füchse Berlin has extended the contract with pivot Max Darj until 2026. The club announced this on Thursday.
The 32-year-old moved from Bergischer HC to Spree last year, where he scored 37 league goals and won the European League with Berlin.
The Swede had to sit out longer this season due to a foot injury, but made his comeback last Sunday at THW Kiel. “We are pleased to be able to retain another leading player for the long term, a player who leads by example,” said managing director Bob Hanning.
