The capital club took advantage of the lion’s slip at 38:33 (22:16) against promoted VfL Gummersbach and is the big winner on Thursday evening: The German champions SC Magdeburg, who had clearly defeated the Berliners before the international break, surprisingly lost 31:34 (14:17) at TSV Hannover-Burgdorf.
