Because director Steven Spielberg doesn’t just let his dinosaurs hop around, but first increase the tension thoroughly until our blood is almost bubbling. First some dull thumps in the distance, the ripples in a cup of water, the sound of cables coming loose from the electricity pylon, terrified glances and then that T-Rex, roaring in all its glory and filling the screen.
