“Have I heard anything from angry Gordon?”

It was a turbulent summer for Evert Santegoeds, because he was suddenly confronted by an angry Gordon. He wants the Private Boss prosecuted. “Is there actually an update on that?”

Gordon has had many boyfriends, but his engagement to Gavin Rozario has been the final blow to his image. After their breakup, the image briefly emerged as if this Australian guy was a gold digger, but that turned out to be wrong. He gave a major interview to Privé in which he opened up about the erratic TV millionaire.

Completely silent

Gordon is very angry about that publication of the country’s largest gossip magazine. He filed a report against Evert, but the case was dismissed. Now he wants to force the Public Prosecution Service to prosecute through an Article 12 procedure. It seems that the entertainer has now calmed down and is focusing on his life in Dubai again.

When asked if Evert has an update on this matter, he answers in the podcast Strictly Private: “No, it’s completely quiet. This time he has kept his promise to withdraw completely for a while. I don’t actually know where he is. It will probably be in Dubai that he is not seen anywhere and so on.”

Behind bars

Gordon still lives in the emirate. “And from there he doesn’t say anything for a while. Maybe that has to do with the proceedings he initiated against me, because yes, he noticed at the first attempt that seeking publicity himself does not help him in his attempt to get me behind bars.”

Colleague Jordi Versteegden: “Yes, indeed. That was a really strange period indeed. There are also a lot of people who advise him to simply do nothing in the media for a very long time. It looks like he’s listening to that then?”

Contract expires

Evert agrees. “Yes, but his contract is expiring, so there is no reason to seek publicity. There are no more new programs coming up. There’s actually nothing there. I haven’t heard anything about his singing career, which he resumed with Bram Koning. And yes, it is quiet…”

Jordi: “Yes, and I recently heard the guys from LA The Voices say: ‘Yes, come back to us, because we made such beautiful Christmas shows and such.’”

Typical Gordon

That’s all typical Gordon, says Evert. “That was true, but he suddenly stopped and called it a day.”

He concludes: “Yes, Gordon starts things enthusiastically and then it suddenly falls apart. Take his coffee company for example. There is also one thing left that you can’t ignore…”
