The news that Nicol still wants to press charges against Peter has been brought out through Patty. “She called me right before the broadcast and said, ‘You can say anything I tell you now. I’m going to report assault. I was pressured and didn’t do that when I called 911.’ Two police officers were present at the time, but they did report it.”
Nicol is very upset. “What she told me is that there are so many declarations to be made and that she is having a very hard time because she has to bring out all those emotions and tell each time what went through her mind. Also about the position of her four children, who secretly filmed things. She releases so much emotion.”

Peter may be an SBS 6 colleague, but Patty has had it with him. “She also knows that I have a warm heart for her because I simply hate guys with loose hands. I can only conclude that I take her word for it, because she makes her stories very clear.”
She continues: “She also sent me a message that she was with her parents and they are very kind to her. I am very happy about that. I know she’s going through hell and I wish her the best of luck.”

Patty’s colleague Bart Ettekoven told Shownieuws last week that Nicol is waiting a while before filing the report on the advice of her new lawyer. “He said: ‘Let’s first take a good look at the entire file and then we decide what the best strategy is to tackle this.’”
