Permit issues for traffic arrangements for weekend festivals are not yet in place, even though the festivals start as early as Friday.
Permit supervisor of the city of Hämeenlinna Jani Mantere says how street closures and traffic signs were last discussed today.
– These are ordinary things, but should not go so late. That is why we will not be able to communicate traffic arrangements to the townspeople until tomorrow, Manter tells Hämeen Sanomat.
Among other things, there is uncertainty about the placement of the signs and who makes them.
Security issues are in order.
Weekend promoter Hardi Loog does not know the reason for the delay. According to him, transport arrangements belong to production.
According to logic, there may be differences of opinion between different parties about what is realistically required of an arrangement. Loog also points out that festivals are being held in the area for the first time, meaning the movement has started from scratch.
Weekend festivals are held in Hämeenlinna from Friday to Sunday of this week.
