How often is Health Minister Lauterbach really vaccinated?
Lauterbach has been promoting the fourth corona vaccination for months. According to his own statement, he had himself vaccinated for the fourth time in March, confirmed this in the government press conference on Friday: “I did not follow the Stiko recommendation for vaccination for under-60s, but took a fourth vaccination. Because I have a lot of contacts, that was the main reason for me.”
But: In the press conference, the minister also showed his vaccination certificate – and that raises questions. Because: If you scan the certificate, only three corona vaccinations for Lauterbach are displayed. The minister received the last of these on November 14 of last year.
So is Lauterbach only vaccinated three times? NO, says the Ministry of Health when asked by BILD. Lauterbach was vaccinated for the fourth time in March, but did not digitally register the fourth vaccination.
The federal government has been referring to the possibility of digitizing the fourth vaccination on its website for months. Lauterbach himself recommends the app to every citizen and recently defended it against criticism. It is therefore questionable why he himself does not use them to their full extent.

Experts: Do not show vaccination certificate publicly
The fact that he shows his vaccination certificate in public in front of dozens of journalists and photographers is explosive anyway. When the digital vaccination card was presented last summer, experts warned against distributing the certificate via social media or screenshots. Because: The QR code can be imported into the Corona-Warn-App or CovPass-App on other phones without much effort.
IT expert Holger Bleich warned “RP Online”: “The certificates can be copied.”
This means: Anyone who scans one of the numerous photos of the government press conference with their Corona app has the vaccination certificate from the Minister of Health in their app within seconds – and can theoretically show it the next time they visit a pub…
