Disappointing Johan
How did that go exactly? Harry tells it on his own opinion channel: “Of course I have known that Derksen for a long time, friends. We grew up together as sports journalists. Then we ran into each other regularly and we had a lot of fun.”
He continues: “But yes: Johan Derksen can just be very nice to you and great and nice and then you have a very crazy evening and nothing is wrong, and the next moment he tackles you and pisses you off. He used to do that to me too.”
Harry burnt down
Harry then felt quite screwed. “Then we would have had very nice conversations, for example, and then three or four days later I saw in his magazine, the Football International, that he really burned me down completely. There was nothing left of me.”
He spoke to Johan about that. “Then I ran into him again and I said: ‘Johan, what is that for? Why do you have to piss me off so terribly?’ And then he would just say: ‘Yes, I had no subject for a while and I thought: well, then I’ll just grab you.’”
Grain of salt
If Johan speaks strongly about something, you just have to take it with a grain of salt, Harry has known since. “So that’s how serious you have to take it friends. And since then I have done that, because on TV he has also taken me a few times.”
Now he has no problem with that. “Then I thought: yes, probably again due to the lack of a topic. Whatever.”
