It was in the midst of a little chat with the crowd at the United Center in Chicago. Harry Styles was complaining about the “unusually cold” temperatures around Lake Michigan at one of his Illinois concerts last Friday (October 14) when a small, massive object suddenly flew out of the crowd and killed the ex-One Direction Boy bander straight in the gut.

Styles collapsed and had to take a short break. There is a pixelated fan video of this scene on the internet. On this it is difficult to identify the unknown flying object. Whatever it was, it had a brief, violent effect.
The US trade journal “Billboard” quotes the still squirming styles with English humor: “Well, how unfortunate …” he said, gasping for air. He then danced around before continuing his performance with the comment: “All right, I’ll shake it off….” There are also no indications in the local press as to who the thrower was and what his or her motives for the attack were is.
Styles is currently on his worldwide “Love On Tour” tour, he has postponed his first Chicago concert without giving a reason. With the tour he also presents his third album “Harry’s House”, which was released in May 2022.
The record is listed in the statistics of the major international music markets as the best-selling vinyl LP of the year to date.
On Saturday (October 15) he wrapped up the final show of his six-night Chicago show block, which included a historic 15-night residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City in late August-early September and a six-night residency at the Moody Center in Austin. In the US, “Harry’s House” reached the top one of the “Billboard 200” album charts.
