The Brit brought his opening act on stage to deliver one of their songs and then one of his own together.
Pop star Harry Styles performed at a concert alongside indie rock duo Wet Leg. During his performance on Wednesday evening (July 19) in Oeiras, Portugal, he brought the two on stage. They then sang the wet leg song “Wet Dream” together, which Styles had covered several times live, as well as another song.
Harry Styles, who is currently on the “Love Tour 2023” in Europe, is a self-confessed fan of the newcomers from England. It’s no wonder that he took Wet Leg with him on his tour as the opening act. In the small Portuguese town near Lisbon, he introduced the two as his favorite band and insisted on taking over the guitar and backing vocals on “Wet Dream”.
However, the stage then belonged entirely to wet leg members Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers. The audience enthusiastically sang along to the hit from their debut album. The duo then stayed to perform their own song “Daylight” with Harry Styles. Wet Leg themselves called the moment a “wet dream” come true on their Twitter account.
The next stop for Harry Styles and Wet Leg will be the city of Reggio Emilia, Italy (July 22nd). Anyone who missed Mr. Styles at his performances in Germany can now at least admire the wax figure of the singer at Madame Tussauds in Berlin.
