She even delivered some letters personally to his address. Now she has to go to court.
Harry Styles has recently been faced with more and more unwanted mail from a stalker. Myra Carvalho regularly sent the singer handwritten letters and cards – over 8,000 in one month. This information was announced by London’s Harrow Crown Court, before which the woman will soon have to answer for stalking.
She goes on trial in April
The prosecution stated that some of the documents were designed in a wedding theme. Carvalho ordered most of the cards online and had them delivered to him – how they got to the musician’s address is unclear. In addition to the letters delivered by post, the 35-year-old even personally drove to Styles’ house to deliver two letters.
The Brazilian came to London as a backpacker in December 2023 – her parents let the court know that they did not know about the trip. When Myra Carvalho was confronted with the stalking allegations, she denied them and was subsequently taken into custody. She is currently staying there until her court hearing on April 19th.
Not the first stalker for Styles
For Harry Styles, it is not the first experience with a stalking person – in 2019, the homeless Pablo Tarazaga-Orero camped in front of the 30-year-old’s house for several months. He was charged and found guilty. The British musician said at the time that he felt “scared” and “very uncomfortable.”
