The author in an interview in an American podcast, has returned to talk about her first husband, the Portuguese journalist Jorge Arantes and the abuses suffered within the home. The two were married for a year between 1992 and 1993, when Rowling escaped a marriage in which she was physically and psychologically abused. All topics that the woman had already talked about in the past but to which she has now added another detail. “Jorge was violent and possessive,” Rowling said, “especially after I got pregnant with my daughter Jessica.
