FC Bayern continues to work on Harry Kane’s transfer. Michael Reschke believes the top scorer in the Bundesliga is capable of great things – to the detriment of BVB.
“If Kane moves to FCB, the German championship will be decided for years!” Reschke told “Sport1”.
After Robert Lewandowski left for FC Barcelona last summer, FC Bayern decided not to sign a new centre-forward.
Kane is “not only an exceptional scorer, but also a very strong striker who can put his teammates in the limelight,” said Reschke: “For me, Kane is currently one of the top three nines in the world alongside Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé.”
FC Bayern with Kane to the Champions League title?
The 29-year-old is “the perfect man to close the gap left by Robert Lewandowski,” continued the former technical director of the German record champions.
According to Reschke, FC Bayern could play a bigger role internationally again if the Tottenham superstar were to sign up. If Kane comes, FC Bayern would “be a serious candidate to win the Champions League again,” according to the 65-year-old.
According to consistent media reports, Kane has already signaled to the German record champions that he is willing to make a change.
FC Bayern’s Kane transfer “would be a real statement”
“The fact that Kane wants to come to Munich shows how much appeal FC Bayern has in European football. This transfer would be a real statement – to the whole of Europe!” Reschke said.
However, the negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur are still standing in the way of this “statement”. The north Londoners have so far been unimpressed by the Munich advertising. For a commitment, FC Bayern would have to transfer up to 100 million euros to the Premier League club.
