Meghan and Harry’s trademark application for the name Archetypes has been rejected. PDO

Now the US Patent and Trademark Office has rejected the application. The decision is based on an Arizona company called Archetypes LLC, which was granted a trademark in 2015 for the use of the name in books and articles about nutrition and sexuality, among other things.

Meghan and Harry will not be granted a trademark, as the risk of interference is considered high.

Signatures were also missing from the application. PDO

The Daily Mail also reports that both Harry and Meghan’s signatures were missing from the trademark application.

The lack of a signature has already brought down a couple of trademark applications for the Archewell name in 2020 as well as Meghan’s application last year To re-patent The Tig name. Archewell is the couple’s joint charity, The Tig was the name of Meghan’s blog.

Spotify announced last week that it had canceled its cooperation agreement with Meghan and Harry. PDO

Last week it was reported that Spotify has terminated its contract with the Duke and Duchess by mutual consent. The Archetypes podcast, which appeared for one production season, will therefore not be continued, at least on that platform.

The future of the podcast on other platforms is still open for now.
