Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s visit to Britain will not be easy, according to an expert.
Harry and Meghan will travel to the UK in September to visit a number of charity events.
The couple moved to the United States in 2020, leaving their royal duties behind. After their departure, Harry and Meghan have received a lot of criticism, especially for the tumultuous interview they gave to Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
Royal Expert Richard Fitzwilliams estimates that the couple’s openness will make the future visit difficult. According to Fitzwilliams, the couple’s popularity in Britain has declined.
– Their popularity has dropped phenomenally during this time, Fitzwilliams commented to Newsweek magazine.
– They know they are at war with the press. It’s like stepping directly into the wolf’s mouth as the public doesn’t support them and the press is brutally against them – then there’s the royal family they’re at odds with, the expert said.
Harry and Meghan, on the other hand, are believed to be modernizing the monarchy. Worked as butler to Prince Charles Grant Harrold previously estimated that the court’s personnel department will use Harry and Meghan’s feedback rather to improve the institution.
Harry and Meghan last visited Britain in June for Queen Elizabeth’s 70-year reign. At that time, the couple’s 1-year-old pit bull Lilibet was presented to the queen for the first time.
