Finnish player Harri Heliövaara lost together with their partner Lloyd Glasspool with the French Open doubles semi-finals.

Heliövaara and the British Glasspool bowed to the Indian Rohan to Bopanna and the Dutchman To Matwe Middelkoop erin 2–1.

The Finnish-British couple took the opening round of the match 6–4, but 42-year-old Bopanna and 38-year-old Middelkoop took the next reading as well.

The crucial third set was decided in a tiebreak where Bopanna and Middelkoop were stronger.

Heliövaara and Glasspool already led the tie 3-0, but Bopanna and Middelkoop won the next ten balls into the tube and took the match.

Heliövaara and Glasspool have time to win three matches in the French Open before falling.

In March last year, Heliövaara and Glasspool won the ATP doubles tournament in Marseille. Heliövaara is ranked 42nd on the doubles world list.
