Hardwell performed on a Dutch stage for the first time in years on Saturday evening. The DJ from Breda, who took a sabbatical in recent years, gave a concert in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. “You are beautiful,” he shouted to the audience, as can be seen in a video that the concert hall shares on Twitter.
“I have an easy question for you: who’s ready to party,” Hardwell also asked the fans. The audience cheered in affirmation.

The DJ visited the Ziggo Dome with his Rebels Never Die tour, which started earlier. Although Hardwell has been back on stage since his break, he found his first Dutch performance extra exciting. “That may be very strange to understand, but Amsterdam is always the show that I am extra nervous about because all family and friends come to watch,” he said to the ANP in advance.
The DJ took an indefinite break in 2018 because he threatened to collapse due to the high workload. He announced his comeback last spring.
