The dismissal of military police officer Lennart Bantema (49), who committed suicide as a result, was unjustified. This is the conclusion of a committee led by former boss of the Public Prosecution Service, Harm Brouwer. For Bantema’s widow it is a relief and at the same time a bitter conclusion: “His death could have been prevented.”
