Hans Zimmer knows how to make a marriage proposal ready for the cinema

Hans Zimmer knows everything about emotions in the cinema, after all he has set them to music with great success for decades. Now, he also privately put on a cinematic performance during a performance at the O2 Arena in London on Thursday (June 15). He proposed to his (previously unknown) girlfriend in front of thousands of people.

For this, the composer had loaded them onto the stage and first printed them around. “Why did I bring you here?” he asked as she joined him. “I wanted to ask you something really important. Did you lock the back door? Is the milk in the fridge? Do we still have sorbet in the freezer?” Then, finally, he came out with his request: “Will you marry me?”

“Things are going well”

The couple happily embraced while the crowd in the hall roared with applause. “Things are going well!” Zimmer announced with a laugh before continuing with music from the Nolan film “Inception.”

A little joke had to come out after all the excitement: “The back door is properly locked. All is well!”

Hans Zimmer is currently on a world tour and has been playing gigs in Europe for a few days. He was last seen in Germany on June 9th, at a concert in Cologne. Next stop is Manchester.
