“Someone has filed a report,” says Teeuwen. “But I don’t know who. And I am very curious how quickly the entry order was arranged. It will have happened no more than two hours after the video was posted.”
“Heavily exaggerated”
The comedian is surprised that the police did not first contact him. “It’s hard for me to imagine that someone who sees the video doesn’t think: it’s meant to be funny, let’s call him first. Or maybe I’ll send one person along. That was a conscious choice.” He calls the police action “greatly exaggerated”.
For the time being, Teeuwen is waiting to see what the police will do. According to Teeuwen, the weapon in question is an air rifle that the comedian said he had had in his closet for years. “I don’t know if it is prohibited, but this has been at my house for years. I used to shoot cans with it indoors.”
