Hans Klok is the umpteenth Dutch celebrity who stands in the breach for Danny de Munk. “Aren’t you afraid you’re actually offending the rape victim by saying this?”
Danny de Munk has a lot of celebrities friends, because one star after another stands up to say that there is absolutely nothing true about the rape report that was made against him. Hans Klok now also joins that list. He jumped yesterday in the early edition of Show news fully in the breach for the folk singer.
‘I do not believe it!’
He is a lad with a heart of gold, says Hans. “I used to go to school with Danny in Purmerend, so we’ve known each other for a long time. He has a fantastic marriage and I don’t believe the whole story at all. I just think it’s really sad stuff like this and it’s only going to get worse. You really start to wonder: what have I done?”
Weekend boss Bart Ettekoven said: “Are you not afraid that by saying this you are actually offending the victim of a rape?”
Hans responds
Hans responds as follows: “Well, what I heard then – I don’t know the whole story – is that he had already made an appointment with the lady in question once in a men’s toilet. Yes, of course you don’t go there to pick flowers. So yes, well, and fifteen years later…”
It is all very annoying for Danny, Hans thinks. “He has a very good marriage, very nice children, why does everything have to break?”
