Hanny Veerkamp does not use her television fame to cheat with men other than her own life partner Ton. “There isn’t a hair on my head thinking about that.”
Almost twenty years ago, Hanny Veerkamp became a well-known Dutchman when the program Man Bijt Hond rang her doorbell to ‘go through the day’. She, her mother Nel and her husband Ton aroused a lot of sympathy with the viewers and that is why the program decided to give them their own section.
Hanny is not cheating
Many people who become famous see their relationship fail because they suddenly have to deal with temptations that weren’t there before. After all, celebrities are considered attractive by many people because of their status and wealth.
However, Hanny has never been bothered by this, she says in the Party. “Ton and I know what we have in common. You can flirt and joke around with a man, but not a hair on my head thinking about cheating. Ton will never do that in his life.”

Yet Hanny seems to find it important to be found attractive, because she has done a facelift. She says she only does this for herself. “I still sometimes do a botox injection, on the side of my eye. Once a year or so. I’m just being honest about that,” she says.
She continues: “I am always concerned with my appearance. How I look is very important to me. I turned 76 on March 27, but I don’t feel 76 at all. I definitely feel ten years younger. Both in my doings and in my clothing. I am not a 76-year-old woman, really not.”
