“He did well”
Hannover 96 have signed a professional contract for 19-year-old central defender Yannik Lührs. The native of Hanover, who is active in the regional league team and has been through the youth teams of the Reds since 2018, will be bound until 2025.
“We gave Yannik the chance to show himself to the pros in preparation,” said 96 sports director Marcus Mann. “He did well and stayed with it. Yannik fully identifies with Hannover 96 and is extremely hardworking and inquisitive.”
