Hanneke de Jonge succeeds Hans Hogendoorn as the voice of With the Eye on Tomorrow

Hanneke de Jonge may take over from Hans Hogendoorn from Diever as the new voice of the NPO Radio 1 program With an eye to tomorrow. This was announced late last night during a special broadcast of the program.

De Jonge from Utrecht is a journalist and voice-over. “I am so incredibly honored that I just can’t get my words out,” she responded in the broadcast.

Hans Hogendoorn was heard for 48 years as the voice who opened the program and recorded the jingles. The 76-year-old Drent announced his retirement at the beginning of this year. “It is better to look for a successor now and not wait until the moment when I can no longer do this,” he told NOS.
