Hannamari published the world’s best lentil soup 10 years ago – Still receiving letters of thanks: “It’s so delicious”

Lentil soup is one of Hannamari Rahkonen’s most loved recipes.

Everyone likes lentil soup. Hannamari Rahkonen

– This lentil soup is one of my most loved recipes. It was the first popular recipe on my site. I still get thank-you letters related to lentil soup, says someone who published a soup writer a few years ago Hannamari Rahkonen.

Rahkonen The book of good food (Readme 2021) is full of significant dishes from his own life. The self-taught chef has loved cooking all his life, both for himself and for others.

Rahkonen suspects that the popularity of lentil soup may be due to the fact that it is a super tasty vegetarian dish. Many people are surprised how vegetarian food can taste so good.

– The soup is made in double and triple quantities, because it is so delicious, Rahkonen laughs.

If you want, you can put coconut milk instead of whipped cream. But Rahkonen wouldn’t give up two spices: Cajun spice and ginger. According to him, they are super important.

Rahkonen got the inspiration to develop the recipe one evening from a friend.

– My friend covered a large pot on the dining table, which was filled to the brim with red lentil soup. The smell was intoxicating and we finished the soup.

Rahkonen adapted his own version of the recipe found by his friend, which has since ended up in the kitchens of thousands of Yellow Mood website readers.
