“I had a very good time in high school. I attended Hondsrug College in Emmen and immediately came into a class with very nice people. That became a close-knit group of friends; I am still friends with three of them. I went to grammar school and then you travel a lot. The best was the trip to Rome, which lasted a week. The languages suited me well. I took French as an extra subject, simply because I liked it. Mathematics I hated horribly; that was really not my job. I did math B, because math A suited me even less. After a lot of practice, I finally completed the course with a sufficient mark.
