Handelsverband Berlin-Brandenburg reorganizes management

The Berlin-Brandenburg Retail Association (HBB) is entering the year 2023 with a newly formed management trio. According to the industry organization, since January 1st, Wolfgang Kampmeier and Phillip Haverkamp have been part of the management board alongside Managing Director Nils Busch-Petersen.

Kampmeier therefore took over the post of deputy general manager as the successor to Günter Päts. In addition, the 59-year-old will continue to manage the regional areas of West Brandenburg and will be “involved in the collective bargaining management,” HBB said in a statement.

Haverkamp, ​​who is responsible for the “cross-sectional tasks of energy and climate policy as well as transport policy” in the association, was also appointed managing director and given additional areas of responsibility. In addition to his previous tasks, the 36-year-old has taken over the regional management for Berlin and will in future be “responsible for the project work of the HBB and the digitization of the association’s work,” said the industry organization.
