Handcart, beer and humming skull – Father’s Day in Berlin

The Promille-Ritter are friends from Treptow. Every year they let it rip on Father's Day. Always with humour, disguise and good humor. It never ends sober!

Good morning Father’s Day knights, do you have a headache? Do you remember we met yesterday…

That’s when the tour of Albrecht, David, Tobias, Alexander, Stefan, Olli, Kai and Cornel started. “We’ve been doing this on Lord’s Day for over ten years,” says David, inviting five bottles of rum. “Always a new motto. Sometimes superheroes, cowboys, rockers or gladiators – this time knights.”

The guys from Treptow know each other from football, and some of them are work colleagues. By the evening, the Alcoholic Knights had made it to the Oberbaumbrücke with the handcart they made themselves (which is also redesigned every time).

There was already a lot going on on the Spree on the holiday. At the weekend it will be up to 26 degrees in Berlin

The keg of Cola-Rum was then empty and one or the other Molle had been collected on the tour along the route.

The guys from Neukölln have been out and about with beer, handcarts and bass beats since the morning. Her trademark: everyone wears the same baseball cap – and being in a bad mood is forbidden

That’s how the young knights do it. Older calibers like Paul (78) enjoyed Ascension Day in the beer garden: “A nice glass of beer, heavenly.”

Pensioner Paul stopped by the beer garden for lunch. Motto: Fun must be. Always with him is his XXL tie, walking stick with horn (for ordering beer) and brightly colored sun hat

Paul never overdoes it, of course, but he knows the old adage: Lots of water and lots of sleep help against headaches on today’s bridge day.
