Carstensen throws Oldenburg into the final
The VfL Oldenburg women’s handball team had reached the final a few hours earlier on Saturday. The four-time cup winner beat Buxtehuder SV 28:26 (15:8).
Oldenburg’s most successful thrower was 27-year-old Merle Carstensen, who scored eleven times in twelve attempts from the backcourt. National player Annika Lott scored seven goals for Buxtehude.
