Handball players Volendam and Aalsmeer will compete for national championship

The handball players from Volendam and Aalsmeer meet in the final for the national championship. In the HandbalNL League, the two North Holland clubs finished as numbers one and two, meaning they qualify for the final.

Aalsmeer played a direct game for second place with Lions. The team of coach Bob Bouwer won 31-28 and therefore came to 14 points from 9 games. Volendam starts as the leader in the final with 16 points from 9 matches. The handball players from the fishing village won 37-21 against the scoreless Quintus.

In June Volendam and Aalsmeer play for the national championship. Next week it will be determined who will play the first game at home and finish a possible third final at home.
