Handball player Huele back at SEW’s old nest

Lysanne Huele will make her comeback with the handball players of SEW next season after an absence of a year. The nineteen-year-old currently plays for Quintus, but did go through the youth academy of the West Frisian club. “I’m looking forward to playing handball again with the girls I was with in youth,” says Huele.

“Because of the travel time and the current coaching staff, I would like to return to SEW,” explains Huele. This season, the North Holland player played with Quintus in the European Cup and that tastes like more. “I would like to play in Europe again and work with this team towards a championship. My dream is still to play handball abroad.”

Trainer Michael Vijverberg is also very pleased with the transfer of Huele. “We are bringing back a player with Lysanne who is extremely driven. She only wants to get better, that is the mentality that we can use at SEW.”

Due to a victory over Quintus (38-30), SEW qualified for European handball next year last Saturday. Saturday’s game against Kwiek is therefore of no importance. The West Frisians then play against Venéco Velo (May 21 and 27) for third place in the final ranking.
