Dortmund, Stuttgart and Trier are the German venues for the 2025 Women’s Handball World Championship. This was announced by the German Handball Federation.
The DHB organizes the tournament together with the Netherlands. The final round takes place in the neighboring country. The German team will play their preliminary round matches in Stuttgart. Dortmund is a venue in the main round and two quarter-final games.
“We have the chance to do a lot for our women and all girls who are enthusiastic about handball – both on the field and in public. We want to tell a thrilling story with the World Cup. It will be another highlight in the decade of handball,” said DHB -President Andreas Michelmann.
