Handball club VOC sees Jessie van de Ruit leave for Bundesliga

VOC handball player Jessie van de Ruit will play for the German HSG Bad Wildungen Vipers next season. The 21-year-old player has signed a two-year contract with the club that finished tenth in the Bundesliga this season.

After an internship, she managed to convince the club. The Amstelveen Tessa Bremmer is the trainer for the Germans. The Dutch Anouk Nieuwenweg and Larissa Schutrups also play at the club.

Drain VOC

Van de Ruit became champion of the Netherlands with VOC last week. For the team from Amsterdam-Noord, it is the umpteenth player who leaves. For example, it was already known that Isa Ternede and Faye Janson will also play abroad. Ternede goes to Füchse Berlin and Janson to the Danish Horsens. Jill Kooij retires from handball.
