The hosts quickly took a 2-1 lead, but still had some problems defensively. Viktor Kireev started in goal, but he could hardly get hold of a ball. Hans Lindberg even missed two seven meters.

Foxes improve in the second round

The hosts didn’t get going until the middle of the first half. Meanwhile, regular goalkeeper Dejan Milosavljev was back in goal and helped the Foxes take the lead again in the 28th minute (15:14). They were able to rely primarily on Andersson, who converted all nine of his throws in the first half.
