On the penultimate matchday of the handball Bundesliga, TSV Hannover-Burgdorf and THW Kiel separated with 29:29 (17:14). A fair result for a handball thriller that was actually nothing more.
THW keeper Andreas Wolff against Hanover’s Marius Steinhauser, the duel from the seven-meter point was called in the last campaign of the Bundesliga north duel. A worthy showdown for a game that had previously been roused in the second half. Steinhauser met and secured the “stretching” in their last home game of a strong season the deserved point win.

The THW struggled in the first half against the movable defense of the “stretching”. The four-goal lead of the hosts (10: 6) went perfectly after 15 minutes. Wolff drives the “zebras”
The defensively improved “zebras” caught after the break and equalized after 38 minutes to 19:19. With a usual emotional Wolff in the back, which increased in the THW goal, the guests took the lead for the first time at 25:24 (52nd). Now it was an open exchange of blows, in which it went back and forth before the showdown between Steinhauser and Wolff set the end.
