Igone de Jongh went to one of Coldplay’s concerts in Amsterdam last night and, according to Yvonne Coldeweijer, was spotted ‘hand in hand’ with Thijs Römer. “Open mouth.”
At first glance, it seems like something that no parent can forgive their love partner: sexual offenses involving minors between the ages of 14 and 16. It is exactly what Thijs Römer is being prosecuted for and despite the fact that Igone de Jongh announced in a short statement in January that their relationship is over, she now seems to have forgiven him.
Hand in hand
Igone already indicated last month that she regrets that statement and now the two seem to be together again. “Spotted: Thijs and Igone walking hand in hand from the Arena just after the Coldplay concert. Everyone looked in amazement and with open mouths,” reports a spy from Yvonne Coldeweijer.
Incredible, the juice queen thinks. Yet she is not surprised, she writes on her infamous juice channel. “After all, Igone has indicated that it regrets announcing a break up with Thijs and realizes afterwards that she ‘gives a damn’ what others think.”
‘you do you’
Yvonne herself finds it extremely inappropriate. “Well, if you fall for a grown man who tried to have sex with underage girls and admittedly extorted and blackmailed them, then we won’t stop you, girl. Not something I would “shit” on, but you do you.”
Thijs is not prosecuted by the Public Prosecution Service for physical contact with minors, but he is said to have been guilty of sexual extortion of young women, also known as ‘sextortion’.
Jail
Many people in society are a lot less forgiving when it comes to these kinds of crimes. And then it also concerns criminals with whom Thijs may end up in prison, John van den Heuvel said earlier.
John: “People who, say, sexually abuse minors should really be put in special wards in prisons, because they should not end up among the normal prison population.”
