Almost eight months after his cardiac arrest, pro football player Damar Hamlin has cleared a major hurdle on his way to his comeback in the professional league NFL.
The 25-year-old is part of the 53-man roster the Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday for the new season. The season starts on September 9th.
Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest in the Jan. 2 game with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was resuscitated on the field and later put into an artificial coma in the hospital.
Three and a half months after his collapse, Hamlin had received the green light from doctors and started work on his comeback.
