The museum garden becomes a dance floor with techno, experimental pop and deep house. There is street food and admission is free.

That can get loud! As a contemporary museum, the Hamburger Bahnhof also feels committed to electronic music. The summer programBerlin beats“ turns the garden of the museum into a dance floor on twelve dates.

It starts on June 16 from 7 to 10 p.m. with Ellen Allien, who will be presenting a DJ set and her video work “After Dark”. The work can be seen in the Rieckhallen until June 18th. After Dark is part of the free weekend Open House.

On the other festival days up to August 31, David Lieske (June 22) with Deep House, Aérea Negrot (July 13) with an impressive voice and composer David August (July 27) can be seen. Hüma Utku (August 17) talks about the connection between music and her psychology degree, Oda Haliti (August 26) presents Balkan sound.

The museum’s restaurant offers a changing range of street food. Admission to “Berlin Beats” is free.
