The radical Islamist group Hamas A group released this Monday night showing a young woman who the militia claims is an Israeli hostage captured in Gaza.

The images are not verified, but these show how the woman is injured, but alive and receiving medical assistance. If confirmed, it would be proof of the kidnapping to Maya Sham, 21 years old and from the town of Shoam, which occurred on October 7.
“Hello my Name Is Maya Sham. I am 21 years old and I am from Shoham. Right now I’m in Gaza. I returned early Saturday morning from a party in Sderot. I seriously injured my hand. They brought me to Gaza and took care of me in the hospital here,” she explains in the recording, subtitled in Arabic and collected by the Israeli newspaper ‘Haaretz’.
