Publication of government documents is still far from the level that the municipality of Amsterdam would like. According to Mayor Halsema, requests based on the Open Government Act (Wob) are still not handled quickly enough. Especially now that a new law has come into effect that replaces the Wob, the Open Government Act (Woo), it wants to deploy extra manpower to get rid of the mountain of information requests.
