The Munich clothing supplier Hallhuber GmbH will have to do without its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Managing Director Torsten Eisenkolb in the future. The 48-year-old will leave the company at the end of the month, Hallhuber announced on Tuesday. His departure after four years was “amicable and of his own volition in order to face new challenges,” explained the retailer, who is currently going through insolvency proceedings under self-administration.
Eisenkolb came to Hallhuber from the sporting goods group Adidas AG in September 2019 and has been managing the company together with CEO Rouven Angermann since then. As CFO, he was responsible for finance, logistics, IT and human resources. In May 2021, Angermann and Eisenkolb took over all company shares as part of a management buyout after initial insolvency proceedings.
As part of the ongoing process, the team “continues to do everything possible to find a solution in negotiations with several interested parties in order to ensure the continued existence of the Hallhuber brand,” emphasized the retailer.
