Hadewych Minis and Jacob Derwig have a chance this year to win the Theo d’Or and the Louis d’Or, respectively, the theater prizes of the Association of Theater and Concertgebouw Directors (VSCD). Minis has been nominated for her role in Girls & Boysen Derwig because of Sorrow is the Thing with Feathers.
Charlie Chan Dagelet, Sien Eggers and Janni Goslinga are also nominated for the Theo d’Or, the prize for the most impressive female lead. Jan-Paul Buijs and Bram Suijker are the other two nominees for the Louis D’or, the prize for most impressive male lead.
The VSCD also announced on Tuesday the nominations for the Colombina and Arlecchino, for the best female and male supporting roles, respectively. The theater awards will be presented on 11 September during the Gala of the Nederlands Theater in International Theater Amsterdam.
