Hacking in Kämp and F6 hotels

The attackers got to hit the hotels in the Nordic Hotels & Resorts chain.

Thousands of customers have leaked personal information from two hotels in Helsinki, MTV news. These are Nordic Hotels & Resorts hotels Kämp and F6.

Up to 15,947 customer data has been leaked.

Personal data has been compromised since 2019, but the leak does not affect all customers. The chain has said it will contact those whose information has been leaked in the attack.

The email sent to the victim of the data leak, which MTV sees, states that the hotel guest’s name, address, telephone number and e-mail address were leaked. In addition, the dates of the guest’s stay are included.

According to the Nordic Hotels & Resorts chain, there has been a data leak in the system of one of its suppliers. The actual attack took place from 10 February to 14 February. and has also affected other hotels in Finland.

The chain learned of the leak on April 9th. The incident was reported to the Data Protection Authority on 12 April. According to Nordic Hotels & Resorts, the disruption has been rectified and it is safe to make reservations again.
