BERLIN (dpa-AFX) – From the point of view of Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck (Greens), Russian President Vladimir Putin “completely miscalculated” in the war of aggression against Ukraine. Habeck said on Friday in the Bundesrat: “He underestimated the resilience, indeed the heroism, of the Ukrainians.” He underestimated how closed Europe, the West and the transatlantic community could be. “He underestimated that people didn’t want him as a liberator.”
