Haaland also scores in the 7th competitive game in a row: Man City beats Wolverhampton

Red card for Collins

Thanks in part to the accuracy of exceptional striker Erling Haaland, Manchester City celebrated their third win in a row and remain unbeaten in the Premier League. The English champions won 3-0 (2-0) at the decimated Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday and took the lead at least temporarily.

After the English national player Jack Grealish had scored to make it 1-0 in the first minute, Haaland increased it to 2-0 in the 16th minute. It was the eleventh goal in the seventh Premier League game for the former Borussia Dortmund striker. The 22-year-old is by far the top scorer, in which he is the only player with a double-digit score. Meanwhile, Haaland has now scored a goal in the seventh consecutive competitive game for his new club. After goals from Grealish and Haaland, Phil Foden made the final score in the 69th minute.

The Wolves were down for almost an hour after Nathan Collins (33′) saw a red card for a kung fu kick against Grealish. Former Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic, who has been out for a long time after a cruciate ligament rupture, was also absent from Wolverhampton.
