Gymshark appoints Laura Hagan as head of human resources

British sportswear retailer Gymshark Ltd. presented the next newcomer. The company announced on Thursday that Laura Hagan will take over as Chief People Officer (CPO) next January. In this role, she will report directly to Ben Francis, Gymshark Founder and CEO.

Hagan comes from the food company Tate & Lyle, where she was Chief HR Officer for more than four years. Before that, she held the position of Global HR Director at electronics manufacturer Dyson.

At her future employer, she will be “responsible for ensuring that Gymshark attracts the right talent at the right time to enable considered growth while preserving the DNA that has made Gymshark a global player,” the company said in a statement .

In the past few months, Gymshark has already filled a number of key positions. Former Asos manager Mat Dunn has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO), John Douglas chief technology officer (CTO) and Carly O’Brien chief marketing officer.
