In 2016, American actress Gwyneth Paltrow had a nasty skiing accident, which led to years of legal battle.

Doctor Terry Sanderson claimed that Paltrow made out on her at the Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah. According to Sanderson, Paltrow skied completely recklessly, didn’t look in front of her, and didn’t stop to help Sanders after she fell on top of him.

According to Sanders, Paltrow’s ski instructor Eric Christiansen was talking complete bullshit when he said Paltrow didn’t cause the accident.

According to Sanderson, the accident caused him numerous injuries. Sanderson listed the injuries as permanent traumatic brain injury, four broken ribs, pain, suffering, loss of joy in life and emotional distress.

The doctor initially demanded compensation of 3.1 million euros from Paltrow for what happened.

Paltrow’s version

Paltrow told the court that she was on a skiing holiday with her children at the time. He participated in the ski school organized by the skiing center.

According to Paltrow, Sanderson approached her from behind. Although Paltrow faltered, the matter was handled with Sanderson’s apology, as Paltrow was also fine. However, Paltrow decided to leave the slopes for the rest of the day, as she was scared of the crash.

Ski instructor Christiansen, on the other hand, said he did not see the entire collision. According to Christiansen, all he heard was Paltrow’s exclamation.

In the end, the lawsuit filed in 2019 was ruled in Paltrow’s favor and the suit was dropped.

New treatment

However, Sanderson did not give up. The matter was taken up again at the beginning of this year. This time, the doctor demanded $300,000 from the actor.

Paltrow and her attorney denied that Paltrow was at fault for the accident. The trial continued for more than a week. In the end, the judges came to the conclusion that Paltrow was not at fault for the doctor’s injuries. Sanderson was ordered to pay the actress $1 and court costs.

Gwyneth Paltrow pleaded not guilty in court.
