Gwyneth Paltrow wants to “disappear from public life”

15 years ago, Gwyneth Paltrow founded the wellness and lifestyle company Goop. While she sells quirky and high-priced products on her own website – such as vagina steamers, candles and jade eggs – a more affordable cosmetic range will be launched in October for US wholesaler Target and Amazon. Goop continues to grow, but Gwyneth Paltrow soon wants to quit and “disappear from public life” completely, as she now tells the public.

Although it is clear that the actress wants to withdraw from the company in the near future, she told the US online magazine “Bustle” that she did not yet know who would buy the brand. “I have no idea. We’re not ready to sell yet. “I need a few more years,” explains Paltrow in an interview. However, she seemed enthusiastic about the plan to disappear from the public eye on her 55th birthday in four years. “I will literally disappear from public life. Nobody will ever see me again,” the entrepreneur is certain.

Gwyneth Paltrow, who has two children with her ex-husband Chris Martin, also says she doesn’t enjoy money or her celebrity status. “I could never be attracted to a really rich man… And I don’t make decisions to create value in the wrong way. I’ve always made indie films. I do not know either. Money has never been my thing. “It was never my motivation,” says the “Iron Man” actress, whose fortune is estimated at 125 million euros. Instead, what she particularly enjoys in her professional life is “creativity, collaboration, new ideas, innovation, forward thinking, strategy and vision.”
