Gwyneth Paltrow raves about kissing Matthew Perry

Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow was among the many celebrities who spoke out after Matthew Perry’s sudden death.

Neither of them had necessarily attracted attention with joint activities in recent years. But as the Oscar winner announced on Instagram on Sunday (October 29th), she still remembers their days together in 1993, when both of them were not yet among the superstars in their industry.

Moments of affection and freedom

According to Paltrow, both met at a theater festival in Massachusetts. He was funny, sweet and pleasant to deal with. “We went out to swim in creeks, drank beers at the local college bar and kissed in a field of tall grass,” she said. “It was a magical summer.”

Paltrow was “super sad, like so many of us,” about the fact that Perry died, she wrote. At the same time, she expressed her wish that he “finally found peace.” The actor who played Chandler Bings in “Friends” had achieved worldwide fame and considerable wealth on the sitcom, but had already struggled with alcohol and drug problems before the series began.

Most recently, he claimed several times to be clean. As of Monday morning (October 30), the cause of death had not yet been determined. Matthew Perry was found lifeless in the hot tub at his property over the weekend. Initial indications point to death by drowning, possibly in combination with the ingestion of medication.
