No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani visited The Ellen DeGeneres this week. The artist told presenter Ellen DeGeneres that she, too, had attended an audition for a role that has since become one of the most memorable performances by actress Angelina Jolie.
It was part of Jane Smith Mr. & Mrs. Smith to the movie. The film, which premiered in 2005, is also starring Jolie’s ex-wife Brad Pitt.
– Angelina hit me. It could have been a different story, Stefani recalls as the studio audience sighed in surprise.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith also put Jolie and Pitt in the headlines in time because the duo’s romance began filming, even though Pitt was still married to Frendit star Jennifer Aniston.
